Site Electrical Engineer

** Urgently required for one of the largest contracting companies specialized in building power plants and Substations in KSA :

(( Site Electrical Engineer ))

-- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.

-- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Electrical Substations, preferably EHV.

-- Minimum ( 3 - 5 Years ) experience in similar position in the field of substation or power generation.  

** Required Skills :

-- Strong knowledge of electrical systems constituting necessary parts of Substation.

-- Should be able to read and understand drawings.

-- Should have knowledge of SLD, Layout drawings etc.

-- Should be capable to understand and implement execution planning schedule

-- Should have skills and capability to manage big teams and or subcontractors at site.

-- Should be well versant in English language and should handle client.

-- Should have knowledge of RFI both for executed works and material.

-- Should have experience of installation of GIS, SWGR, AC/DC Panels, C&P;panels and outdoor equipment etc.

-- Should be able to tackle As Built Drawings.

-- Should be able to work independently for punch list clearance.

-- Should be able to prepare BOQ from provided drawings.

-- Should have capability of short term planning and can set goals/targets for teams & subcontractors.

-- Should have knowledge of safety requirements, rules and regulations in KSA.

-- Should have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

-- Should be cooperative and team worker.

-- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

-- Knowledge and understanding of substation components/equipment and their functions.

-- Knowledge of design documents and drawings necessary to complete a substation electrical works.

-- Knowledge of engineering standards and SEC site protocols.

-- Knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail software.
